Natasha Ewa is a mother, wife, author and photographer who is slowly learning how to play the guitar. She also is a psychotherapist and owner of I-Thrive Therapy and Wellness. At the age of 29, she was diagnosed with ER+, Her2-, stage2, grade 3 invasive ductal carcinoma breast cancer and completed treatment following multiple surgeries and chemotherapy.
Tina and Leah met with Natasha, who shared her perspective on managing PTSD, grief, and death from the standpoint of wellness, based on her professional experience and personal journey as a cancer survivor.
Natasha regularly helps people navigate trauma related to health challenges, and her advice is applicable to anyone who has been through (or is in) a tough health challenge. She emphasizes the importance of education, mental wellness, and coping strategies for cancer survivors. She's also written a book, which comprises journal entries from her own cancer journey, offering raw and real insights into the emotional landscape of living with and beyond cancer.
Natasha finds joy in what she believes is her second chance at life. Her second chance at navigating the world she is in. A second chance at gratitude and a second chance to LIVE.
Death is inevitable, it will come. But until then, this second chance Natasha has been granted will be used differently. To (find a reason to) enjoy what she can control and find peace in what she cannot.
As of this recording, Natasha is not currently accepting new clients. She is licensed in Virginia, Maryland, and Rhode Island and only sees patients from these states.
